The wedding
Dan and Katie's wedding service will take place at Dirleton Castle on Friday 20th August 2010 at 2pm.

Information on the castle can be found on the Historic Scotland site. The Undiscovered Scotland site has more pictures and information on accommodation on Dunbar.
Please have a look around the castle and gardens (there is usually an admission fee, but this is waived for guests). Also, leave plenty of time for parking (spaces are limited) and walking to the vaults (a good 5-10 mins through the grounds from the entrance).
Please be aware that the castle is a ruin and the ground in quite uneven (high heels worn with care!). Should the weather not be warm or sun, please make sure you have something warm as the vaults can be chilly. Dirleton Castle ask the following information be made available:
No confetti
Nearest toilet facilities in the nearby pub.
The Castle Inn is just across the road and would be an ideal place for lunch beforehand or a quick drink afterwards before we head to Crauchie.
This will be a Humanist ceremony.

Our wish list
Our first wish is that you can come to the wedding!
Should you also like to give us a present, we have compiled a short wish list. Also, in particular we are hoping to furnish our new house and any financial contributions towards our new beds, wardrobes, and chest-of-drawers would also be gratefully received.
For the wish list please visit Presentwise and in the "View a List" section enter the code 1279 in the 'List ID' box'.
For other gifts, please contact Jo McDonald at the RSVP address on your invite (or contact by phone/e-mail to check anything over)
